The idea is simple: each guest brings along a ‘fool’, and whoever’s guest stands out the most is declared the winner. Tonight Pierre is delighted; he thinks he’s found the perfect candidate: François Pignon, an accountant at the Ministry of Finance with a passion for building model houses out of matchsticks.
